Step 2: The soft part below the nose should be pressed firmly for five minutes. As soon as the bleeding starts, the person should be laid on the floor. Breathe calmly through the mouth. Ice pack or something cold should be placed on the head.

Step 3: When the nose is held tightly, the blood will go into the throat. Then blow it without swallowing.

Step 4: Hold the nose for five minutes and if the bleeding stops then hold it for another five minutes. But if it continues without stopping then you should consult a doctor.
