BitterGourd Chips: BitterGourd Chips are the best snack for diabetic patients

Kakarakaya can be cooked as chips just like potato chips and banana chips. Especially people with diabetes like the kakarakaya chips very much. It is also cooked at home so no matter how many you eat. Any dish made with turmeric is good for diabetics.  

Ingredients required
Gourds – one hundred grams
Yellow – half a spoon
Coriander powder – half a spoon 
Chili – Half spoon
Cumin powder – half spoon
Oil – enough for deep frying
Rice flour – fifty grams
Corn flour – fifty grams

Preparation as
1. Caracas should be cleaned well and cut into rounds. Take out the seeds in the middle. 
2. Then the pieces of kakarakaya come like wheels.
3. Soak them in salted water for five minutes. By doing this the bitterness goes away. 
4. Strain the water and put the round pieces of turmeric in a bowl. 
5. Add cumin powder, turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder and some salt in that bowl and mix. 
6. Add rice flour and corn flour and mix to form crumbs. 
7. Now add oil to the pan and let it heat well. 
8. Add pieces of kakarakaya and fry it. 
9. After it gets crispy, take it out and put it on an oil absorbent paper.
10. After absorbing all the oil, eat them.
