Eggplant – 2 (large size)
Onion finely chopped – 2
Green chili finely chopped – 3
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Tomato – 3
Turmeric – 1 tsp
Cumin – 1 tsp
Red Chilli Boudar – 1 to 2 teaspoons
Garam Masala – 1 tsp
Coriander leaves chopped – 1 tbsp
Oil – 2 to 3 tsp
How to make restaurant style Baingan Bharta
1. Cook the Eggplant
To make Bharta, first of all cut the brinjal Cook on medium heat. Peel them off when they are ripe.
2. Cook the tomatoes too
Cook the tomatoes like brinjal on medium flame. When they are cooked, peel them too.
3. Mash the two
Now mash brinjal and tomato together in a bowl and prepare the paste.
4. Heat oil
Heat oil in a pan and when the oil becomes hot, add chopped green chillies and onions and fry till golden.
