The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has given a reply in its own style to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray on the issue of Film City. State Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said on Sunday that Uttar Pradesh is going to get a big film city from Mumbai as well. Maurya’s statement came at a time when Maharashtra CM Thackeray had challenged a few days ago and said that he has the ability to run, then move the film industry from Mumbai.

In fact, on Friday, Uddhav Thackeray had said without naming the name of UP CM Yogi Adityanath that it is reported that he will take the Film City of Mumbai to Uttar Pradesh. If they have the ability to run the film industry then they can take over the film industry. If they have the capacity, then they show it by moving the Film City to Uttar Pradesh.

After this, on Sunday, Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the state government is working on the proposed Film City with full efficiency and the state is going to get a big film city from Mumbai as well. On the inauguration of the office room of the Chairman of the Film Development Council, Maurya said that by becoming a Film City in Noida in Uttar Pradesh, the artists of the state will get employment opportunities. The present government is working promptly on the new proposed Film City. This office of Film Development Council is going to give Uttar Pradesh a big film city from Mumbai.

He said that with the formation of the office of the Film Development Council, artists will get all kinds of information and the artists interested in films will get an opportunity to showcase their talent. State Law Minister Brijesh Pathak congratulated the Chairman of Film Development Council Raju Srivastava and said that by becoming the office of Film Development Council, artists working in the state will get an opportunity to work smoothly.

Council President Raju Srivastava said that the government will try to attract filmmakers towards the work related to the film industry in Uttar Pradesh and provide all kinds of facilities. Shrivastava also said that there are immense possibilities of tourism in the state and being the largest state, being a historical and scenic place here, the producers / directors will be able to facilitate shooting.
