Electoral strategist-turned-politician Prashant Kishor recently met with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Patna. The talks between the two were about two hours long. After this political development, people interested in politics are waiting for PK’s statement. Although, he has not given a statement yet, but has definitely made a tweet. In this tweet of his, indications of his decision are also being found. PK has posted two lines of Rashmirathi from Ramdhari Singh ‘Dinkar’.
Prashant Kishor has written, “With your help, I will achieve victory spontaneously, to the coming humanity, but, what face will I show?” His tweet seems to put an end to the speculations, in which PK is being said to go with Nitish Kumar again.
PK brought Nitish-Lalu together in 2015
Prashant Kishor was instrumental in forging an alliance between Lalu Prasad Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal (United) in the 2015 assembly elections. Later Nitish Kumar got PK included in his party. He was made the Vice President of JDU.
Nitish had shown the way out of JDU
When Prashant Kishor opposed the controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 and the proposed National Register of Citizens (NRC), JDU showed him the way out of the party. In a program, when Nitish Kumar was asked a question about PK’s entry into JDU and then showing the way out, he said that he had got Prashant Kishor to join JDU at the behest of Amit Shah.
PK also worked with Mamta
After this Prashant Kishor resumed his work as an election strategist. He did it with Mamata Banerjee’s party Trinamool Congress in West Bengal, which managed to come back to power in 2021 with a thumping majority. After the Bengal results, PK announced that he would no longer work as an election strategist. A year after this announcement, he started a program named ‘Jan Suraj’ in Bihar. The campaign is likely to turn into a political party in the aftermath.
War of words continues between Nitish Kumar and PK
There is a war of words between Prashant Kishor and Bihar Chief Minister Niti Kumar after Nitish Kumar joined the Dobora Mahagathbandhan. But the news of his recent meeting with Nitish Kumar has given rise to speculations about his return to JDU. Asked about the importance of the meeting, Nitish Kumar told the media in Patna, “It was a normal meeting. There was not much in it. Pavan Varma had brought him.”
