Vaccination started in Nepal with gifts sent from India, PM KP Sharma Oli said- thank the neighboring country and PM Modi

After receiving the gift of 1 million corona vaccine doses for India, the vaccination started in neighboring Nepal on Wednesday. In the first phase here, all frontline workers including health workers are being vaccinated. The notes of Nepali PM KP Sharma Oli, who are constantly in the discussion due to anti-India statements and activities, are also seen changing. Once again, he has thanked India and PM Narendra Modi for this gift. Not a single dodge has been sent to him from the China at which Oli danced.

KP Sharma Oli said on Wednesday, “We got a chance to give Covidan-19 vaccine early.” For this I thank and thank the Government of India, the people of India, and especially PM Modi. He sent us the vaccine within a week of the commencement of vaccination in India and that too gifted 1 million doses. ”

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Wednesday inaugurated the vaccination campaign through video conferencing. So far in the country with a population of 3 crore, more than 2 lakh 70 thousand people have been infected and more than 2 thousand people have died. According to officials, there are about 4 lakh 30 thousand frontline workers in Nepal, including health workers, other employees working in hospitals, community health workers, security personnel, sweepers, elders living in old age homes. Vaccination has been started in all 65 districts across the country.

In the last week itself, India has provided one million doses of Corona vaccine to Nepal. These vaccines have been prepared by Oxford-AstraZeneca and Serum Institute of India. The first vaccine was given to Dr. Sagar Rajbhandari, director of Sukraj Infectious Diseases Hospital located in Teku. The government of Nepal is planning to buy another 40 lakh doses a month. It is believed that vaccines will be purchased from Serum Institute of India.
