UP Police Recruitment: UPPRPB released list of districts allotted to candidates, check here in which district is your exam

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has published the list of districts allotted to candidates for the jail warder, fireman and constable mounted police recruitment examination to be held on December 19 and 20 on the website uppbpb.gov.in. In this list, the candidates can check that their exam center is in any district. The board has stated in the notice that the admit cards will be issued 7 days before the examination. The board has said in the notice that the application number of the candidates is their registration number. Candidates can search the information about the district allotted for the written examination by entering their application number / registration number. Candidates’ admit cards will be uploaded on the board’s website 7 days before the date of the written examination, which candidates can download by entering their registration number and birth date. Candidates can call the help desk if they have any problem.

Negative marking
There will be negative marking in the exam. The Additional Secretary of the Board Recruitment Vijay Bhushan said that the ‘No Negative Marking’ fact was wrongly mentioned in the instructions for the offline written examination papers to be held on December 19 and 20. The board has also issued an explanation in this regard on its website. It has been made clear to all the candidates that negative marks will be awarded in the written test.

Tight security
The offline written test will be under tight security. It will be conducted at 335 examination centers set up in 10 districts of the state. From the point of view of security, one inspector and two sub-inspectors will be deployed at each center. Senior police officers of the district will also constantly take stock of examination centers. CCTV cameras will be installed at all the centers and biometric attendance of every candidate will be taken, so that no other person can sit in the examination instead of a candidate.

The maximum number of 72 centers has been set up in Lucknow. After this, 65 examination centers have been established in Prayagraj, 58 in Varanasi, 56 in Kanpur, 35 in Gorakhpur, 30 in Agra, eight in Bareilly, five in Ghaziabad and three in Meerut and Gautam Budh Nagar (Noida). The board has also issued a help desk number for the candidates. This number (09513765358) is also given on the board’s website. This help desk number is operational from 9.30 am to 6 pm on the board’s website (http://uppbpb.gov.in).

Total vacancy
This recruitment includes 3638 posts of jail warders (3012 men and 628 women), 2085 posts of firemen in fire department and 102 posts of constable mounted police. An advertisement related to this was released in the year 2016.
