This action against Shaista has taken place after a CCTV footage of her with two and a half lakh prize shooter Sabir went viral. This footage is being told five days before the murder of Umesh Pal. The police is trying to trace other members of this gang.
On the other hand, the amount of reward has also been increased on Abdul Kavi, the shooter of absconding accused Atiq Ahmed in MLA Raju Pal murder case. Kaushambi police had declared a reward of 25 thousand on Abdul Kavi. A proposal was sent to the IG Range office to increase the reward amount on him. On Tuesday, IG gave a reward of 50 thousand rupees on Abdul Kavi. Apart from Abdul Kavi Raju Pal murder case, he is also wanted in the Arms Act case registered in Kaushambi. Abdul Kavi’s name has also come up in the Umesh Pal murder case. After this, the police is taking swift action against Abdul Kavi.
