Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee claims that the state’s CID is worth more than the CBI. If so, I want the state to trace Shariful’s whereabouts. The president of Sandeshkhali, who is also a close aide of Shariful, has met a state minister 17-18 times recently. These meetings took place after the drug consignment was caught.
Here, the officer released the document during a press conference alleging that there has been an unusual increase in the assets of TMC leaders. The special thing is that the state minister was not named by the BJP leaders, but he said that the minister’s portfolio was changed recently after allegations of ‘corruption’. Majumdar has demanded a probe into Shariful’s income and the source of his income.
Officials are claiming that the documents released are of 4 TMC leaders from South 24 Parganas district. “The ruling party MLA Ganesh Chandra Mandal and leaders Jehangir Khan, Gautam Adhikari and Shamim Mulla have amassed illegal properties in the last 5-6 years,” he alleged. “This is only the beginning,” he said. We will release more evidence one by one. What does TMC have to say
TMC general secretary Kunal Ghosh says, ‘I cannot say anything. We’ll have to investigate. But let them go to the ED. That is his agency. I want to ask Sukanta Majumdar that when we all have seen that Shubhendu Adhikari has taken cash in Narada sting case, why was he not arrested.’
