Thieves fond of ‘Jubaan Kesari’, wiped out Vimal gutkha worth Rs 10.50 lakh

A shocking incident of theft of Vimal gutkha has come to light in Bardoli, Surat. Here about 8 people entered Vimal’s godown and took the watchman hostage and stole Vimal gutkha worth Rs 10.50 lakh and escaped. The entire incident of Vimal theft has been captured in the CCTV of the warehouse.

According to the information, the warehouse of Jayambe Traders is located near Kadodara Char Rasta in Bardoli, Surat. Around four o’clock in the morning, eight smugglers targeted the godown. The smugglers reached the warehouse with the car and parked the car outside the warehouse. During this, the watchman present in the warehouse stopped him and asked the reason for parking the car there. Then the smugglers took him hostage.

Police engaged in investigation of the case

After this the smugglers entered the godown and stole 42 sacks of Vimal gutkha and 25 loose packets. The smugglers also smashed the CCTV cameras installed outside the warehouse with sticks. In the morning, the owner of the godown came to know about the theft of Vimal gutkha worth Rs 10.50 lakh, after which he informed the Kadodara police about the matter. Police reached the spot and started investigation to nab the smugglers on the basis of CCTV footage.
