Tangled again in Maharashtra? Devendra Fadnavis left for Delhi and Eknath Shinde canceled all meetings

Once again the stir in the politics of Maharashtra seems to be intensifying. It was reported on Thursday morning that the Eknath Shinde cabinet may be expanded soon and the oath ceremony is likely to be held by August 8. Not only this, the names of 15 to 16 MLAs were also in the discussion, about whom it was said that these ministers would take oath of office. But now once again the screw seems to be stuck in it. Amidst speculations, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis has left for Delhi. It is being said that he will meet Amit Shah and JP Nadda in Delhi. At the same time, CM Eknath Shinde has canceled all administrative meetings for the day.

The decision to cancel the meetings is being linked to discussions on cabinet expansion, but Eknath Shinde’s close friends say that he is unwell. So they have canceled the meetings to take rest. The Chief Minister is feeling exhausted due to constant visits and meetings that go on till late in the night. In such a situation, doctors have advised Shinde to take strict rest.

Eknath Shinde has been visiting Delhi continuously since taking oath as the Chief Minister. Apart from this, he was seen busy in Maharashtra tour, inauguration programs, felicitation ceremonies and public meetings in the past. All this has affected his health and he started feeling tired. The doctor has advised him to take rest. In view of this, all the administrative meetings to be held today have been cancelled.

At the same time, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has left for Delhi. They have also canceled all today’s programs immediately. It is reported that Fadnavis will hold talks with party leaders. The BJP is also treading cautiously due to the Supreme Court’s direction to the Election Commission not to take any decision on Shiv Sena’s symbol. Let us inform that it has been more than a month since the formation of the Chief Minister Eknath Shinde-led government, which came to power after a massive political upheaval in Maharashtra. But the picture regarding its cabinet expansion is not clear yet.

Cabinet expansion may happen tomorrow?

There is information that the state government will expand the cabinet on August 5. On Wednesday, Shinde Group spokesperson Deepak Kesarkar clarified that the cabinet will be expanded on Sunday. Meanwhile, according to a report in India Today quoting sources, only senior MLAs are likely to take oath on Sunday. This includes seven BJP MLAs and seven Shinde group MLAs.

Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis took oath on June 30. After Shinde was sworn in as the Chief Minister, it was expected that the cabinet would be expanded soon. For this, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis started visiting Delhi along with Eknath Shinde. But even after a month has passed, the cabinet has not been expanded. So the opposition is the attacker.
