Suspense on Hemant Soren’s chair, Governor may meet Amit Shah in Delhi; Congress bid – why not making the recommendation public

What decision will the Governor take on Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s assembly membership? Right now all eyes are on it. Governor Ramesh Bais is currently in Delhi due to personal reasons. After his visit to Delhi on September 2, its political meaning is also being extracted. He may also meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the course of his Delhi tour. It is expected that after returning to Ranchi, the Governor can take his decision based on the opinion of the Election Commission. The Governor is also expected to come to Ranchi within two days.

After hearing Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s name in the mining lease case, the Election Commission of India has submitted its decision to the Governor on August 25. Now the governor has to take his decision. The Governor will send his decision to the Election Commission. The commission will issue a notification on the basis of the membership of the Chief Minister and send it to the Chief Electoral Officer of the state. Information will also be given to the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly.

The delegation of the UPA Grand Alliance, meeting the Governor at the Raj Bhavan on September 1, had demanded an early clarification in the case of Hemant Soren. In a press release issued by the Raj Bhavan on the same day, it has been said that the Governor will take appropriate action soon. The next day the Governor had to go to Delhi for personal reasons.

Here Congress state president Rajesh Thakur has said that after proving majority in the Jharkhand assembly, the grand alliance is now waiting for the governor’s decision. He has alleged that the BJP wants to destabilize the government. The Election Commission of India gave its report, but the Governor himself is sitting in Delhi. If there is a recommendation to abolish the membership of the Chief Minister, then why is it not being made public?

Rajesh Thakur said that the Mahagathbandhan government has not only proved its majority in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly but has also won the trust of the people. There used to be news of break-up of MLAs from time to time, that has come to an end. Congress State President said that the strategy prepared by Congress with Jharkhand in-charge Avinash Pandey and Chief Minister Hemant Soren worked.
