The program of MP Startup Conclave is going on at Brilliant Convention Center in Indore. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is virtually involved in the program. Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing said that when there is enthusiasm in the heart, there is new enthusiasm and there is passion for innovation, then everything is possible. Youth are accelerating the development of the country with new energy. Referring to the start up policy of MP, he congratulated the government and the youth. PM Modi said that the world of startups has changed in the country in a short span of time. The world’s largest eco system, we are also emerging as a force in Unicon Hub. The bigger the volume of start ups in India, the bigger the diversity. Like Indore cleanliness, he also became a leader in natural farming.

Modi said that startups give us simple solutions to tough challenges. Today new startups are emerging in the field of agriculture and retail business etc. Indian startups are admired in the world. How the word startup, which was a buzzword in some corridors till eight years ago, has become a medium for making dreams come true for the ordinary Indian youth today, it did not come suddenly. A well thought out strategy, clear goal is the result of a set direction. Today, as much as there is a proactive startup policy in the country, there is also a diligent startup leadership. Therefore the country is accelerating development with a new youthful energy.

Modi said that you will remember that when our government came in 2014, there were around 300-400 startups in the country. This word was not even heard, nor was it discussed. But today in a short span of eight years, there are 70 thousand recognized startups in the country. India has the third largest startup ecosystem in the world.

CM Shivraj addressed the program first. He said that today in hundreds of colleges of MP, more than 5 lakh nine jawans are directly connected with the college. My nephews and dear nieces I say – my sons and daughters, you give me the idea, I will give you the opportunity. We have talent, innovative idea. If the right path is found, Indore will do wonders. Will also leave Bangalore behind in startup. This challenge is accepted. it is our pleasure. Today the leadership of the country is in the hands of PM Modi.

Shivraj announced to reduce stamp duty in Madhya Pradesh. There will be less stamp duty in MP than in Delhi. Shivraj said- Madhya Pradesh Startup Portal is being launched. We will try to establish Indore, Bhopal and other cities as startup hubs. We are working on one district one product. The CM said that today the entire ecosystem of startups has been prepared in MP. My resolve is employment. Every month we celebrate Employment Day. Now the youth of MP is ready to take a new flight in the field of startup. The complete eco-system of development in MP is ready. New policy of MSME has been implemented. Introducing a new policy regarding rice. We are also coming with the policy of electric vehicle.

CM said that efforts were started in 2016 to prepare the startup eco system in MP. Due to this policy, the ecosystem of this startup was created. 700 crore funding has arrived. Startups are operating from every nook and corner of the state. 40% of startups belong to daughters who are growing fast. Sons and daughters are coming up with new ideas from small towns. This policy has been finalized with the suggestions of the youth during the Startup Summit on 26 January. If any daughters start their own startup, then the system of promoting their startup, will help in arranging funds. MP Startup Portal is being launched by the state government.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the startup policy of MP through video conferencing on Friday evening. The PM distributed the financial aid by pressing the button. He also launched the Startup Portal. PM Modi spoke to Tanutejas Saraswat of Indore. Tanutejas Saraswat, founder of Shop Kirana, said that three and a half years ago, three friends started the startup with the aim of improving the supply chain system of kirana shops. With him Deepak Dhanotia and Sumit Ghorawat wanted to bring such a business-to-business model, in which goods could be taken directly from the companies and delivered to the shops in 24 hours. He did this. The startup reached out to one lakh retail outlets and 50 million consumers in 30 cities across six states. Gave direct employment to 10 thousand persons. The startup turnover is Rs 800 crore annually. Funding worth crores of rupees has been received from leading startup investors of Japan and India. PM Modi also spoke to Tauseef Khan and Bhopal’s start up Umang Shridhar.

Umang Sridhar, the founder of Design, Pvt Company, did his B.Com Honors from the University of Delhi. He is also a Gold Medalist. She has also done Diploma in Fashion Designing from NIFT Bhopal. About the company Umang says that I started this company only five years ago. Earlier our company used to manufacture garments and sell them to designers and retailers. After Corona, we added some new things like embroidery, sewing, printing to it. Because of this, we got the opportunity to work with even more women. Earlier 1000 women were associated with the company. Now 350 more have been added to it. Umang told that the aim of this company is to empower the women and artisans of rural India, to get them the right price for their art. At present, our company supplies stores in India as well as foreign companies.

In Indore, PM also interacted with Tauseef Khan, who runs Gramophone Startup in Indore. Gramophone startup in Madhya Pradesh is not only showing farmers the way to save, but is also saving agricultural land from the effects of chemicals. The concept of gramophone is to save the farmers from unnecessary use of expensive chemicals and give them all the measures to increase their income. This startup, which started with six lakh rupees in 2016, has crossed the 300 crore mark. There is a whole team of well-educated youth from IITs and IIMs running the Gramophone startup in Indore. Founder Tausif Khan says that after getting higher education from better educational institutes there were many job options at good package but chose the possibility of venturing into agriculture and rural sector. It was decided during the studies itself that a big work has to be done for the villages, farmers and environment protection.
