A case of gang rape of a six-month pregnant woman has come to light in Indore. The incident is of September 14 but, the woman had informed the police in the matter on September 29. The police told how the matter started from the story of friendship and then proposal on Instagram and reached a sensational incident. The four accused have been arrested.
The police have arrested the accused Prince, Afzal, Arbaaz Khan and Shahid alias Syed. All are residents of Tukoganj in Indore. Rajesh Raghuvanshi, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Indore said, “The 19-year-old married woman said that she had met Arbaaz on Instagram a few months back. Arbaaz offers her a job and introduces her to Prince. Once she met him and later Arbaaz proposed to her. He declined the offer. On 14 September, Prince called her and said she had found the job.
Execute such a given crime
According to the victim, “The Prince came to pick her up and gave her some snacks and water. She started feeling uncomfortable. Later, Prince asked her to sit in a car in which Arbaaz and two others were already present. They took her to a secluded house where Prince and Arbaaz raped her and the other two were keeping watch outside the house. After this, the accused threatened him of dire consequences if he told anyone.
After the incident, the woman, who was broken from inside, informed her husband about the matter with some courage on September 28. After that he complained to the police. The accused have been arrested under IPC sections 376(d) (gang rape), 354 (sexual assault) and relevant sections of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
