In fact, in a press release issued by United Metallic Private Limited (Noida), it was told that for some time, fake pressure cookers were being sold in the market under the name of United, these fake pressure cookers were of poor quality and did not conform to the safety standards. .
Taking immediate cognizance in this matter, the company took action on 29 January 2023. In which it was found that fake pressure cookers of the company were being made in an unnamed factory in Nokha, near Sasaram district of Bihar. These fake pressure cookers were of poor quality. And also did not conform to the safety standards. These pressure cookers of inferior quality were being sold in the states of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand.

The company took immediate action in this matter. Raided many places in Bihar with the help of administration and police. During the operation, a large quantity of substandard quality pressure cookers and parts have been recovered from the manufacturing plant at Nokha, on which the packaging and branding of the company has been used.
Deepak Gupta, the director of the said company, was not found there at the time of action. Investigation revealed that he is already absconding. To make counterfeit products, the accused used to bring small parts from Libaspuri area of Delhi, manufacture them at the manufacturing plant in Nokha and sell them as imitations of United.
Company’s action will continue
Arif Elahi, director of United Metallic Pvt Ltd, said that they are thankful to the local police and administration for their cooperation. The company will continue this type of action going forward. Strict legal action will be taken immediately if any such complaint comes in future.
United said in its statement that for the last 65 years, it has made a place in the kitchens of customers by providing high quality pressure cookers. Customers have placed their trust in United over the years and the company is determined to continue to maintain that trust.
