Sanjay Raut arrested by ED, big action in Patra Chawl land scam case

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut’s troubles are increasing in the Patra Chawl land scam case. It is reported that the Enforcement Directorate has arrested him. The central probe agency had raided Raut’s residence on Sunday. During that time Rs 11.50 lakh was confiscated from his house. Even before this, the ED has issued summons to Raut several times.

According to media reports, Raut has been arrested by the ED in the scam case. According to the report, his brother Sunil Raut has given information about this. A case has been registered against Raut under PMLA. He is likely to be produced in the court on Monday afternoon. Sunil said, ‘ED is afraid of Raut, so he has been arrested.’

According to the language, officials said that Raut (60) was arrested after questioning that lasted more than six hours at the ED’s divisional office in South Mumbai’s Ballard Estate. They claimed that Raut was detained at 12.05 pm on Sunday under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) as he was not cooperating in the investigation.

He said the documents are fake and there is nothing to link Raut with the Patra Chawl case. The ED had raided the residence of the Shiv Sena MP on Sunday morning. He was taken into custody after hours of questioning.
