Saluja was with you all the time, ’84’ attack on Kamal Nath as soon as he entered BJP

On the third day of Bharat Jodo Yatra of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi in Madhya Pradesh, former Chief Minister Kamal Nath and the Congress suffered a major setback. Kamal Nath’s former media coordinator Narendra Singh Saluja joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the presence of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Soon after taking entry in BJP, Saluja first targeted Kamal Nath and blamed him for the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

Saluja said that he was associated with Kamal Nath for many years. Also worked as his media coordinator for the last five years. Then many people told him that he should not support Kamal Nath. They are guilty of anti-Sikh riots. He has led mobs against Sikhs. Initially, he believed the allegations to be politically motivated, but recently changed his mind after a kirtankar told the truth.

Saluja said that earlier he did not believe all these things to be true. But recently, after Kamal Nath’s public honor at Khalsa College in Indore on November 08, famous Kirtankar Manjit Singh Kanpuri opposed Kamal Nath from the stage itself and told the truth about him, his mind broke with Congress and Kamal Nath. From that day he neither spoke to Kamal Nath nor issued any statement regarding him. He said that now he will unite the Sikh community in the entire state against Kamal Nath and tell the truth about him.

In the presence of state BJP’s media in-charge Lokendra Parashar and Forest Minister Vijay Shah, Saluja told the media that he also demanded action against Kamal Nath from Rahul Gandhi. Gandhi is on the Bharat Jodo tour, but he is taking with him Kamal Nath, who led a mob against Sikhs near Rakabganj Gurdwara in Delhi. Saluja said that he came to know the truth after Indore’s Khalsa College controversy and since then he is not in touch with Mr. Kamal Nath.

Saluja said that after the incident of November 08, pressure was put on him to give a statement against Kirtankar who made statements against Kamal Nath, but he did not do so. Because many Sikh leaders have told him about Kamal Nath and he is responsible for the anti-Sikh riots. Saluja said that Kamal Nath must be punished for his actions. Responding to a question, Saluja said that he had come to the BJP unconditionally and would follow whatever role was given to him.

Saluja is originally a resident of Indore and he appeared on the political scene of the state in May-June 2018 with the appointment of Kamal Nath as the state president. He has been working as the media coordinator of State Congress President Kamal Nath since the beginning. It was Saluja who looked after Kamal Nath’s media related work even during his tenure as Chief Minister. Saropa was also presented to Mr. Kamal Nath every year on his birthday, but this time he did not even meet Mr. Kamal Nath on his birthday. For the last few days there were reports that all is not well between Kamal Nath and Saluja. Meanwhile, political analysts believe that the ruling party BJP in the state can use Saluja as an effective “weapon” against state Congress president Kamal Nath. BJP can also influence Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra on the pretext of Saluja.
