The military said Russian fighter jets dumped fuel on the MQ-9 several times before the collision. This was done with the intention of damaging or damaging his camera. NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Europe and US Army General Christopher Cavoli informed NATO allies about the incident. It was strongly condemned by the White House and the Pentagon and described as a step to increase tension. However, there was no immediate comment from Moscow.

On Tuesday itself, a Russian missile fell into an apartment in the city of Kramatorsk in Ukraine, killing one person and injuring seven others. The Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office and regional governor Pavlo Kirilenko also reported the attack and shared photos of the building debris. He said the missile attack was so severe that 9 apartment blocks, a kindergarten, a local bank branch and 2 cars were destroyed.
