Russia is using porn websites to recruit soldiers for war against Ukraine. The New York Post reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s mercenary army, the Wagner Group, is using Pornhub to recruit soldiers. The report cited a video clip of an advertisement running on Pornhub. This advertisement is also becoming quite viral on social media.
In the clip viral on social media, a woman can be heard saying, “We are the best army in the world. We are recruiting fighters from all regions of Russia. Don’t talk nonsense, work for PMC Wagner”. After this, a phone number appears on the screen which is said to be connected to the Wagner Group.

Meanwhile, Pornhub has removed ads from the Wagner Group encouraging people to join the Russian military fighting in Ukraine. A spokeswoman for Pornhub told Newsweek that the ads have been removed, adding that the website does not allow any politically related ads.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Pornhub, the world’s largest pornography website, was encouraging people to join Russia’s mercenary army, the Wagner Group. According to The Moscow Times, the ads featured a woman filming the ad.

Wagner Group was founded by Yevgeny Prigozhin, a close associate of Vladimir Putin. The Wagner Group is held responsible for genocide in several areas of Ukraine. However, there have also been reports that the Wagner Group suffered heavy losses in Bakhmut, Ukraine.
