Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das has been found infected with the corona virus on Sunday. He tweeted that he was informed of his contagion.
Shaktikanta Das tweeted, “I have been found corona virus positive. There are no symptoms. Feeling fine Recently anyone who has come in contact with me has alerted them. Will work only while in isolation. Work in the RBI will continue as usual. I am in touch with all deputy governors and other officials through video conferencing and phone. ”
I have tested COVID-19 positive. Asymptomatic.Feeling very much alright. Have alerted those who came in contact in recent days. Will continue to work from isolation. Work in RBI will go on normally. I am in touch with all Dy. Govs and other officers through VC and telephone.

Let us know that in 24 hours for the third consecutive day in India, the number of cases of corona virus has been less than 55 thousand whereas after about three months the number of deaths in one day has come down to 578. According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, the total number of cases in India has increased to 78,64,811 after 50,129 new patients, while the death toll has risen to 1,18,534. The number of patients being treated for infection remained below 7 lakh for the third consecutive day, while the national rate of recovery has increased to 90 per cent.
