Prashant Kishor’s question on Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jod Yatra, told – should have started from Gujarat

Prashant Kishor, who has made his mark as an election strategist, has raised questions on the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodi Yatra. He said that this yatra should have started from Gujarat or any other BJP-ruled state. He said this after attending a program in Nagpur. PK met local leaders and activists demanding a separate Vidarbha state here.

When asked about Congress’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, Prashant Kishor said, “It would have been better if Congress had started the Bharat Jodo Yatra from the state of Gujarat going to the assembly elections later this year or like Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.” Let us tell you that under the leadership of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, this journey has started from Tamil Nadu, which will end in Kashmir.

Let us also tell you that earlier this year there was talk of Prashant Kishor joining the Congress. However, Congress turned down PK’s proposal.

Interacting with the leaders and activists demanding separate Vidarbha state, Prashant Kishor called for a united effort by the people of the region to realize the dream of a separate state.

Ashish Deshmukh, a former BJP MLA, had organized this program to formulate a strategy for the demand for a separate state. “If there is hope among the people, the idea of a separate Vidarbha state can be taken forward,” PK said. “The movement should reach the centre. It should have national impact. The campaign should emerge from the society,” he said.

Prashant Kishor said that he has stopped working as a political strategist. Now he wants to work for the people and not for any party.
