PM Modi will inaugurate the Sohna-Dausa section of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway on 12th, the journey of these 5 states will be easy

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Sohna-Dausa section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway on 12 February. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari gave this information on Monday. The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway was earlier to be inaugurated on February 4. This will reduce the travel time between Delhi and Jaipur by about two hours.

Nitin Gadkari tweeted, “Change in date. Now Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Sohna-Dausa section of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway on 12th February.”

Gadkari had earlier tweeted, “To be inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi on February 4. Sohna-Dausa section of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will facilitate commuters to reach Jaipur from Delhi in two hours.”

Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will be able to reach Dausa from Delhi in 3.5 hours

The distance between Delhi and Jaipur is approximately 270 kms. This expressway will reduce the travel time between Delhi and Jaipur by about two hours.

The Sohna (Haryana)-Dausa (Rajasthan) section is the first phase of the New Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. About 1,390 km long, the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will be the longest expressway in India. It will reduce the travel time between Delhi and Mumbai from 24 hours to 12 hours. It is likely to be completed by March 2023. It is being built as part of the first phase of the Bharatmala Pariyojana.

It is an eight-lane expressway, which can be expanded to 12 lanes. This expressway will pass through Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.
