However, this year, May 26 marks 9 years since PM Modi came to power, and the government will celebrate its 9th anniversary on this date. Earlier it was being told that PM Modi would inaugurate the new Parliament House on May 26. But this time it is going to happen on 28th May.

PM Modi will inaugurate the new Parliament House built with a huge expenditure of 970 crores. Media reports say that the meeting of the G-20 speakers is likely to be held in the same building later this year. The construction of this triangular Parliament building started on 15 January 2021. There will be such a parliament here in which 1224 MPs can sit. It has 3 entrances namely Gyan Dwar, Shakti Dwar and Karma Dwar. There are 3 separate gates for MPs, dignitaries and guests. The new Parliament building is spread over an area of ​​64,500 square metres.

A hall has been built in it which is called the Constitution Hall. It reflects the rich democratic heritage of the country. A copy of the original document of the constitution is also kept here. It also has library, committee room and canteen. The new Parliament House has portraits of Mahatma Gandhi, Nehru, Subhash Chandra Bose and former Prime Ministers of the country. The employees working in the building will wear new uniforms designed by the National Institute of Fashion Technology.
