Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the India-Italy Virtual Summit on Friday. Addressing this virtual summit, Prime Minister Modi said that we all have to be ready for the world after Corona. We all have to be prepared afresh for the challenges and opportunities arising from this.

Due to the Kovid-19, I had to postpone my Italy trip in May. First of all, I express my condolences on behalf of me and all the citizens of India for the damage caused by the Corona virus in Italy. PM Modi said that other countries of the world were trying to understand the corona virus, while you were struggling with it.

The success of Italy in those first months of the epidemic inspired all of us. Your experiences have guided everyone. Like you, I too have restrictions to deepen and deepen relations between India and Italy.

The PM said that it is heartening that after our talks in 2018 there has been a lot of momentum in mutual exchanges. It is clear that the Kovid-19 epidemic will remain a shed like the Second World War. The PM further said that I am confident that our interaction today will strengthen our relations and enhance mutual understanding and help in the identification of new areas of cooperation.
