The last reduction in the price of diesel in the domestic market was on October 2, while the price of petrol has remained stable for the last 46 days. The price of petrol was last seen on September 22 from seven to eight paise per liter. According to Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), petrol in Delhi on Saturday stood at Rs 81.06, while diesel remained stable at Rs 70.46 per liter. Petrol in the commercial city of Mumbai stood at Rs 87.74 per liter and diesel at Rs 76.86 per liter.
