On Thursday, three Bharatiya Janata Party activists were brutally murdered by militants in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. Late in the evening, BJP leaders Fida Hussain, Omar Hajam and Omar Rashid Baig were shot dead by militants in YK Pora area of Kulgam district. The Resistance Front (TRF), which is considered as a mask organization of Lashkar-e-Taiba, has claimed responsibility for these killings. There will be many people in whose mind this name may have come for the first time, who is this new terrorist organization ‘The Resistance Front (TRF), which is responsible for spreading terror in the valley. In fact, this terrorist organization came into existence when the Government of India removed Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and divided the state into two Union Territories, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. So let’s know everything about this terrorist organization.
The terrorist organization ‘The Resistance Front (TRF)’ was launched around August last year, when Article 370 was removed by the Modi government at the Center. After this, this terrorist organization was raised by three top terrorists of Pakistan-based terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba to carry out major terrorist incidents in the valley. Some experts believe that Jaish and Mujahideen also have terrorists involved in setting up this organization. In fact, there was a kind of international pressure on Pakistan to avoid going into the FATF black list. This is the reason that Pakistan tried to give a new face to the terrorists in the valley and ‘The Resistance Front (TRF)’ was raised, so that the world could be avoided.
According to an intelligence report with the Hindustan Times, the TRF is being controlled by the top three Lashkar Commands from Pakistan. Sajjad Jatt for South Kashmir, Khalid for Central Kashmir and Hanjala Adnan for North Kashmir. It is believed that TRF has been prepared to recruit local youth and to provide a new terrorist platform. When five militants and an equal number of army personnel were killed in the Keran sector in early April, the TRF’s social media managers from Pakistan claimed responsibility. The group also claimed responsibility for shelling in Handwara this weekend, in which 5 security personnel, including a colonel, were killed.
Pakistan is now adopting a new trick to throw dust in the eyes of the world. Pakistan has created new terrorist organizations with ‘local names’ to mislead the world that it has nothing to do with terrorism in this union territory. In the same year Pakistan formed three terrorist organizations, including The Resistance Front (TRF), Tehreek Militi Islamia (TMI) and Ghazwa-e-Hind (GEA). Its purpose is to prove that there is indigenous terrorism in Kashmir. The Resistance Front is actually a new front of terrorists, with the terrorist name declining and the concept of the local name being adopted to continue terrorism in the area.
In most encounters with terrorists, it has been found that even if the terrorist is associated with an organization other than the TRF, they try to claim that the one who was killed was associated with the TRF. This is Pakistan’s second strategy. Pakistan has started using local names for terrorist groups so that it does not boil over.
