Mission 2024: Tickets will be cut for many MPs of UP, BJP can bet on ministers and MLAs, who are in the race?

The BJP has already started the exercise to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister for the third time at the Centre. A big campaign will run in UP from May 30 to June 30. During this, many rallies, public meetings and public relations campaign will also be conducted. BJP’s focus will be on winning 80 out of all 80 seats in UP. For this, brainstorming has also started on the candidates. There is a preparation to field ministers and MLAs of UP by cutting the tickets of many MPs. The report card of the sitting MPs is being seen.

BJP’s entire emphasis is on winnable candidates. At present, there are 12 seats in UP on which a plan has been prepared to field ministers and MLAs. If we talk about names, the biggest name among them is that of PWD minister Jitin Prasad. He can be fielded in the Lok Sabha elections. Apart from this, preparations are being made to contest the Lok Sabha elections for former Energy Minister Shrikant Sharma, MLA from Mathura.

If BJP sources are to be believed, the party has made up its mind to field any minister or MLA in Fatehpur, Pilibhit, Lakhimpur. Apart from this, any minister or MLA can be fielded from Bareilly, Ballia, Rae Bareilly. Similarly, along with Prayagraj, Unnao and Kanpur, the MLA or minister from Deoria, Ghazipur and Phulpur can also get a chance to contest the Lok Sabha elections.

In the last Lok Sabha elections also, the BJP had fielded many ministers and MLAs. As a result, the BJP got huge success even after the SP-BSP alliance. The same experiment can be repeated this time also. Most of the seats on which the BJP has prepared to field an MLA or MP by changing the candidate, currently have only BJP MPs. There are some seats on which BJP could not get success. In such a situation, preparations are being made to field such faces on these seats who are already famous among the public and their image should also be clean and win-win.

It is being said that many sitting MPs will also be tested during the next month’s campaign. Along with public meetings and rallies, the party organization will keep a close eye on public relations campaigns. It will be a matter to be seen whether the current MPs are as strong as last time or not. Many MPs who failed in their constituencies during the municipal elections are also on the target of the party.
