Mehbooba Mufti reached the temple, performed Jalabhishek on Shivling; BJP told gimmick

In Jammu and Kashmir, from the leader to the public, the assembly elections are awaited. In the meantime, a lot of political maneuvering is being done. Recently, when former state chief minister and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti was visiting Poonch district, she offered prayers at the Navagraha temple. He also offered water on the Shivling. With this step, he surprised his opponents and especially the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Let us tell you that Mehbooba Mufti had reached Poonch on a two-day tour. He also visited the Navagraha Temple. During this he saw every part of the temple and also performed Jalabhishek on the Shivling here. He also offered flowers to the statue of Yashpal Sharma built in the temple premises.

When Mehbooba Mufti reached the temple, the politics of the entire state heated up. The Jammu and Kashmir unit of the BJP did not like his visit to the temple. The saffron party called it a political drama.

BJP’s Jammu and Kashmir unit spokesperson Ranbir Singh Pathania said, “In 2008, Mehbooba Mufti and her party opposed the allotment of land to the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board. Her party urged the Shrine Board to construct huts for the pilgrims.” Temporary transfer of land was not allowed.”

He said, “His visit to the temple is only a political gimmick, which will not yield any results. If political gimmicks could bring change, today Jammu and Kashmir would have been a garden of prosperity.”
