DIG Manu Maharaj himself was seen running on the streets with security forces and police officers.

On the other hand, on the instructions of the Election Commission, Munger’s new DM Rachna Patil and Superintendent of Police Manjit Singh Dhillo were appointed. The two officers flew from Patna Airport to Munger on Thursday. He will take over with immediate effect. Significantly, a youth died and six others were injured in firing during immersion of Durga idols in Kotwali police station area of ​​Munger district on 26 October.

On Thursday, Additional Chief Election Officer Sanjay Kumar Singh said that keeping in view the situation in Munger, the commission has ordered the removal of the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police with immediate effect. He said that the commission instructed Magadh’s Divisional Commissioner Asanga Chuba Aao to investigate the entire case and submit a report within a week.

DM Rajesh Meena and SP Lipi Singh had told about this whole case that a youth died in police and mob firing on Deendayal Upadhyaya Chowk on Monday night by anti-social elements during immersion of other idols including mother Durga. The two officials said that 20 policemen were also injured in stone pelting on behalf of anti-social elements, including Sangrampur Police Station Sarvjit Kumar, Kotwali Police Station Santosh Kumar Singh, Kasim Bazar Police Station Head Shailesh Kumar and Vasudevpur Police Out Post President Sushil Kumar.
