Manish Sisodia mastermind of liquor scam, BJP surrounds AAP after court’s comment

Manish Sisodia, who was a strong minister in the Delhi government, suffered a major setback on Saturday when his bail plea was rejected by the court. It is being claimed that during the hearing, the court said that senior leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party are the masterminds of the alleged liquor scam. After this, the Bharatiya Janata Party has intensified the attacks on Arvind Kejriwal and his party.

BJP national spokesperson Shahzad Poonawalla asked during a press conference in New Delhi why the court refused to give relief to Manish Sisodia, accused in the liquor scam? He has also alleged that Manish Sisodia & Co received a bribe of Rs 100 crore.

Poonawalla said, “The court said that while reviewing the evidence produced, it can be said that Manish Sisodia is not honest but the mastermind of this corruption policy.” Let us tell you that on Friday, a Delhi court, while rejecting the bail plea of Sisodia, arrested by the CBI in the Excise Policy case, said that prima facie the AAP leader is the conspirator of this whole case.

Special Judge MK Nagpal said that his release could adversely affect the ongoing investigation and seriously hamper the progress of the case.

The BJP spokesperson claimed that it was already decided what decisions each unit of the government, the GoM and the cabinet, were going to take. This means that this whole scam was done after prior discussion with the persons sitting at the top of the government. Because the decision taken by the GoM and the cabinet cannot take place without the approval of the Chief Minister.
