Mamta’s message behind the meeting with PM Modi, the setting has been done; Dilip Ghosh’s allegation

On one hand TMC MP is besieging the central government on the issue of inflation in Parliament, on the other hand ED has arrested Partha Chatterjee, a minister in Mamta government, in the teacher recruitment scam case. Meanwhile, political rhetoric has intensified on Mamata Banerjee’s meeting with PM Narendra Modi on Friday. BJP MP Dilip Ghosh alleged that Mamata Banerjee uses her meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to send a message that the setting has been done. In such a situation, the central government should not fall in the trap of Mamta Banerjee. TMC has termed these allegations as baseless.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday. In Delhi, the TMC chief will also meet party MPs at the residence of Rajya Sabha member Sukhendu Shekhar Roy in Delhi, official sources said. On the other hand, BJP leader Dilip Ghosh has given a big statement regarding Mamata Banerjee’s meeting with the PM.

The BJP MP said, “Mamata Banerjee uses these meetings to send a signal that a setting has been made. The Center should realize this and not fall for it.”

Trinamool Congress’s Sukhendu Shekhar Roy rubbished the claims, saying, “These are baseless allegations that our opponents keep making.” He said Banerjee is on a four-day visit to New Delhi where she is likely to meet senior opposition leaders besides attending a program of NITI Aayog on August 7. Sources said that during her stay, the chief minister is also expected to meet President Draupadi Murmu before returning to Kolkata on Monday.
