9 people have died after a wall collapsed in Lucknow amid heavy rains. Two people are injured in this. According to the administration, those killed had come to Lucknow for the construction of quarters in the Army area of Dilkusha. The construction work was completed only two months ago but the laborers working there were living illegally in this area of Dilkusha. The same laborers have become victims of this accident. Those killed included three children. Expressing deep grief over the accident, CM Yogi Adityanath has announced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh each for the families of the deceased. He has also ordered free treatment of all the injured.

As soon as the information was received, the relief team of the army reached the spot, took out the bodies from the spot and took the injured to the hospital.
City Commissioner Inderjit Singh, who reached the spot, told in a conversation with a private channel that the laborers living here illegally were removed from here some time ago but they started coming here again. He said that this is the area of Cantt. The work in the cantonment area was completed only two months ago but the laborers started living by putting huts illegally from here. They were removed from here but they again built huts here. DM Suryapal Gangwar said that a total of 11 people were present in the huts at the time of the accident, out of which 9 died tragically. Two people are injured. The DM said that 3 of those killed are below 18 years of age.
