Voting is to be held on November 3 for the by-elections to be held in 28 seats in Madhya Pradesh. Before that, the Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate has made serious allegations against Congress leader and former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh. He said, ‘Digvijay Singh called me and asked me to withdraw from the upcoming by-election. He said that I will give you the councilor’s ticket. Let me tell you that the audio of this entire episode is viral on social media.

On the alleged viral audio of Digvijay Singh, SP candidate for Madhya Pradesh by-election Roshan Mirza says that he refused to remove Digvijay Singh from the by-election and said that he will contest the election.

BJP leader Lokendra Mishra has attacked Digvijay Singh over the viral audio. He said that Digvijay Singh has come out of his bill in the last phase of the election. He believes not in democracy but in management. He has said in the past that elections are won by management. The BJP leader also said that he himself must have made the audio viral.
