An encounter broke out between the police and poachers in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh late at night. Three policemen have died in this. In this matter, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has called an emergency meeting at his residence. In the forest of Aaron area of Guna, the policemen had gone to search in the case of blackbuck hunting in the early hours of Saturday. Here the hunters secretly fired on them.
Guna Police says that information about the departure of miscreants was received from Saga Barkheda. 3-4 police teams were deployed for their siege. After this, crooks were seen going on 4-5 bikes in the forest of Shahrok. When the police laid siege, they started firing. The police also retaliated. The remains of five deer and one peacock have been seized from the poachers. The policemen who lost their lives in the encounter include SI Rajkumar Jatav, constable Neeraj Bhargava, constable Santram. The bodies of the three have been sent to the district hospital for post-mortem. The incident is said to have happened at 4:00 am.

On the Guna incident, Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that the incident is very sad. The police had received information about some miscreants. Seeing themselves surrounded from all sides, the miscreants started firing. One of our SI, one head constable and one constable were martyred. I have been in touch since morning. There is a continuous siege of miscreants. We will catch them soon. Strictest action will be taken against these miscreants. Heads of 5 deer have been found, bodies of 2 deer have been found, dead bodies of peacock have also been found. This is where the attention of hunters turns. Whoever the criminal may be, cannot escape from the police. Strict action has been directed. Strictest action will be taken against the attackers. Will take such action, which will be an example. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan himself is monitoring the incident. At the same time, Guna’s in-charge minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar expressed condolences over the incident. When the police is insecure then who will protect the common man? Those Home Ministers who could not protect their own personnel should resign out of morality.
