Educational and rights activist Madhu Kishwar’s problems have increased after posting an Islamic rally held in Bangladesh as Kolkata. The Kolkata Police has registered a case against him on Monday. In the 1.42 minute long clip, people from the Muslim community are seen participating in the roadshow. The song is playing in Bangla language and many flags of Bangladesh are also seen.
Kishwar tweeted this video on Sunday night. The song playing in it said, “Hindustan (India) will not find its place as it has taken a stand against Islam.” Kishwar wrote with the video, “In Kolkata.” Join Commissioner (Crime) Muralidhar Sharma said that an FIR has been registered against Kishwar. The IT cell of the Detective Department looks into such cases.

Marking Kishwar’s tweet, Kolkata Police tweeted, “Fake News Alert, a video clip of Bangladesh is being falsely described as Kolkata.” Legal action has been initiated. As of 3 pm Monday, Kishwar’s tweet was retweeted 2681 times and 4385 people responded.
