The hate story of Johar Ganai and Dr. Sumedha Sharma has shocked everyone. Hardly anyone thought that the love of college days would end with this brutal murder. Yes, this thing has come to light in the Sumedha murder case, so she was in a relationship with the accused for a long time. Sources have been told in the media report that the love affair between Sumedha and Johar was there for a long time. He did Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a Dental College, Jammu. Sumedha was currently pursuing MDS from another college which is located outside Jammu and Kashmir.
Sumedha had gone to Jammu after getting Holi holiday. On March 7, she reached Janipur, where her boyfriend Johar’s house is located. It is being told that during this meeting, there was a clash between the two over some issue. The matter went so far that Johar lost his temper. He took out a kitchen knife and brutally killed Sumedha with it. Not only this, he later attacked himself with the same knife. He wanted to commit suicide but was not successful in his attempt.
Case came to light from FB post
The matter came to light through a Facebook post. The information about the incident was first given to the police by a relative of the accused. He told that Johar Ganai has written such a post on Facebook in which he has talked about ending his life. He has given some personal reasons behind this. As soon as such information was received, the police swung into action and reached Johar’s house in Janipur. On entering the house, the police found the body of a woman lying in a pool of blood, while the accused had serious injury marks on his stomach. Both were immediately taken to the hospital.
Case registered under section 302 of IPC
The body of the female doctor has been handed over to her family members. At the same time, the condition of the accused person is still said to be critical, who is admitted in the Government Medical College, Jammu. A case has been registered under section 302 of IPC in this matter and the investigation of the incident is going on. At the same time, no public statement has come from the relatives of both the accused and the deceased regarding this matter. The name of the deceased’s father is Kamal Kishore Sharma, who is a resident of Talab Tillo (Jammu). Whereas, the accused is a resident of Bhaderwah in Doda district and his father’s name is Mahmood Ganai. However, Johar’s family currently lives in Pamposh Colony.
