Ravindra Kumar, who abducted and then murdered a 6-year-old girl, has been sentenced to life imprisonment. Ravindra, who was convicted last day, was sentenced on Thursday in Delhi’s Rohini Court. It is said that between 2008 and 2015, he made 30 girls his victims. He used to kidnap innocent girls and rape them and then kill them. However, trials have been held in only three cases.
Ravindra is originally from Uttar Pradesh and used to work as a laborer in Delhi. It is said that he started taking drugs while living in Delhi. He was also addicted to watching porn movies. Then Ravindra, who was 18 years old, started hunting young children in the addiction of drugs and porn. By kidnapping 30 girls one after the other, he first made them victims of his lust and then killed them.
Ravindra came to Delhi from Kasganj in Uttar Pradesh with his mother. His mother was a domestic help while his father worked as a plumber. A few days after his arrival in Delhi, Ravindra started taking drugs and found a videotape of a porn film. He used to work as a laborer during the day and after getting intoxicated at night, he used to go out in search of little girls after watching porn. It is said that he used to walk 40 miles in one night in search of prey. In 2014, the police arrested him in a case of rape and murder of a 6-year-old girl.
After killing the girl, he threw her in the sewer tank. The police arrested him from Sukhbir Nagar bus stop in Rohini. On the basis of CCTV footage, the police had reached Ravindra. Everyone was shocked when Ravindra revealed his crimes after being caught.
