The Himachal Pradesh Police with the help of Interpol will issue a Red Corner Notice against Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, the chief of the separatist group Sikh for Justice (SFJ). Investigation has found that Pannu is sending threatening messages using the web portal from USA. Now this major legal action is being taken against Pannu after the incident of raising Khalistan flags and sending threatening messages in the Dharamsala assembly complex. The government will soon prepare a charge sheet against Pannu and present it in the court as per the legal process in the relevant case. The state police headquarters on Monday wrote to Interpol seeking information about Pannu.

Pannu, a pro-Khalistan, is sitting abroad and sending threatening messages on the mobile numbers and social media accounts of the general public, public representatives through social media and modern communication techniques. In the last week of July 2021, he sent a one-minute recorded message on mobile numbers to some people, journalists and public representatives of the state. In this, on August 15, he had threatened to defeat the tricolor. In this context, the State Police has registered the case number 04/21 under Section 124,153A, 506, 120B IPC and Section 13 of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) on 31 July 2021 at Cyber ​​Crime Police Station Shimla of the State Intelligence Department.

Pannu’s voice is in the audio message

Pannu’s voice has been found in the audio message in Junga Lab. It has also come to the fore that these messages were transmitted using a web application from USA. On 1 July 2020, the Government of India has declared Pannu a terrorist under the amended UAPA Act. Himachal Pradesh Police is following the procedure as per International Criminal Law in this case.
