Kailash Gehlot and Rajkumar Anand can handle Sisodia’s work, cabinet expansion will be delayed because of this

After the resignation of Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, now Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal can give responsibility to cabinet ministers Kailash Gehlot and Rajkumar Anand. In this some portfolios can be given to Gehlot and the rest to Rajkumar Anand.

News agency ANI has quoted sources as saying that after the resignation of both the ministers, Kejriwal Sarkar will not expand the cabinet for the time being. If sources are to be believed, all the ministries held by Manish Sisodia will be handed over to Kailash Gahlot and Raj Kumar Anand. It may be known that Satyendar Jain’s department was currently with Manish Sisodia. However, now CM Kejriwal has sent the resignation to LG. After this LG will send it to the President. This entire process may take 15-20 days. In such a situation, the names of the new ministers will be announced after that. But before that the budget of Delhi has to be presented. In such a situation, speculations are being made that Kailash Gehlot can be given the finance ministry and he will present the next budget.

The source has said that at present no new minister will take oath in his place. Manish Sisodia resigned as the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi on 28 February following his arrest in the excise policy scam case. Delhi Chief Minister and party leader Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday accepted the resignations of Manish Sisodia and Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain.
