Controversy has arisen over the allocation of a separate room for offering prayers in the new assembly building of Jharkhand. In the order issued by the Vidhan Sabha Secretariat, it has been said that room number TW-348 is allotted for offering prayers in the new assembly building. Politics has started as soon as this order issued on September 2 became public. BJP has said that if a room has been given for Namaz, then a temple of Hanuman ji should also be built in it.
Former Speaker and BJP leader CP Singh has said that I am not against the room allotted to offer Namaz, but they should also build a temple in the Jharkhand Assembly Complex. I even demand that Hanuman temple be established there. If the speaker approves, we can build the temple at our own expense. Apart from this, BJP leader Babulal Marandi has said that the temple of democracy should remain as the temple of democracy. Allotment of a separate room (Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha) for Namaz is wrong. We are against this decision.

On the other hand, BJP MLA Anant Ojha has tweeted, raising questions on this, is this Speaker sir, now the biggest panchayat of the state is also on the path to nurture appeasement? Room for offering prayers in Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. The people of Jharkhand are watching everything. Decision to tarnish the original soul of Sarvadharma Sambhav. On the other hand, Jharkhand BJP spokesperson Pratul Shah Dev writes that when you are surrounded by all-round failures, try to divert attention. For the first time in the history of Jharkhand, Namaz Bhawan was built to offer Namaz in the assembly building. All limits of appeasement have been crossed. Is there a provision of a temple or a prayer hall for the majority community in the Vidhan Sabha?
