The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in the entire North India for the next few days. The heatwave is delayed this time due to two western disturbances coming from Afghanistan and Iran. The IMD has predicted heavy rains for the next two days in 17 states including Rajasthan and Jammu and Kashmir. It also includes the southern and eastern states. Also know how the weather will be in Himachal, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and East Rajasthan for two days.

According to IMD, there will be no heatwave for the next two weeks. The main reason behind this is two western disturbances. The first Western Disturbance moving from Afghanistan reached Jammu and Kashmir on March 27. The second Western Disturbance is moving eastwards through Iran. It was seen in Pakistan on 29 March.

The IMD has predicted heavy rains over entire North India and hailstorm in many states for two days. There is a possibility of heavy rain and hailstorm in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. Along with this, torrential rain and hailstorm may occur in many states including Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Rajasthan, West Bengal. Heavy rainfall is also likely over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad.

At the same time, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Telangana may also receive heavy rains for the next few days. Heavy rain is likely over all the states of South India except parts of Karnataka.

The weather will be like this all week

IMD says that due to Western Disturbance, similar weather may continue throughout the week. Due to the disturbance, scattered thundershowers may occur over the western Himalayan states. It includes the states of Jammu Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, East and West Rajasthan.

However, most of the impact of the disturbance will be in the South Peninsular and Central. Rainfall activity is likely to be above normal here.

Rain expected in eastern states till April 3

According to the IMD, there is a possibility of strong winds, thunderstorms and lightning in the states of Northeast India till April 3. It can rain heavily here. There is a possibility of heavy rains in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura.
