Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti, who is facing heavy criticism for not raising the tricolor flag till the restoration of Article 370, is now tricking the youth of Kashmir in the name of the people of Kashmir? Is Mehbooba provoking the youth? This is clearly evident from his statements.
The PDP president said on Tuesday that she will fight to any extent for the restoration of special status of the erstwhile state to protect the future of the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. After the program organized by the youth unit of PDP, Mehbooba said, “We lived our lives …. Now we have to think about the youth and their children.” We can go to any extent to protect the future of our youth. ”
Mehbooba spoke to youth – will fight to any extent
Former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti said that in the past her party had fought against the alleged excesses of the police workforce and surrendered to terrorists, but now the party will focus on the restoration of special status of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that the youth are also with him in this struggle and his support encourages him. Mehbooba said, “Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had a dream that there should be a bridge between Jammu and Kashmir, India and its neighbors.” The Center will eventually have to follow this principle.
What did Mehbooba say on the tricolor?
Earlier, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti had said that she would not raise any flag other than Kashmir. While talking to the media after a long time, Mehbooba Mufti has said that I will not raise any flag other than Jammu and Kashmir. Mehbooba Mufti said that when our flag comes back, we will pick up that flag as well. But until our own flag is returned, we will not raise any other flag in our hands.
At the same time, on the question of contesting elections, Mehbooba Mufti has said that her party and the recently formed People’s Alliance for Guptkar Declaration will decide together whether to contest in the Union Territory. The mainstream parties of Jammu and Kashmir have secretly formed the alliance on October 15 to restore the special status of the erstwhile state and interact with all the parties on the issue.
Mehbooba was in custody since most of the provisions of Article 370 of the Constitution granting special status to Jammu and Kashmir were abolished in August last year. Talking to the media for the first time after his release, he said that he is not interested in contesting the election personally until the former state flag and the constitution are restored.
