Where there is a lot of heat, then many times a drop in temperature is recorded due to rain. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for rain and thunderstorm for various states. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be rain and thunderstorms in East India for the next two days. Apart from this, rain and thunderstorm may occur in the western Himalayan region from the night of March 12 to March 14. Rain is likely over South, Central and East India during March 15-17.
Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, Saurashtra, Kutch, Coastal Karnak, Konkan and Goa recorded maximum temperature in the range of 37-38 degree Celsius. It remained between 35-37 degrees in other areas of Gujarat, Vidarbha, Kerala, Mahe, West Rajasthan, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha etc. Besides this, other parts of the country recorded maximum temperatures ranging between 30-35 degree Celsius. Whereas, heatwave conditions prevailed in Saurashtra, Kutch, Konkan. Apart from this, rain was recorded in the states of Gangetic West Bengal, Andaman and Nicobar, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Odisha, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand etc. on the previous day.

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in the next few days in many states. IMD said that it is going to rain in the western Himalayan region during March 12-15 and in Rajasthan during March 13 and 14. Apart from this, there is also an alert of thunderstorms. At the same time, it will rain in Uttarakhand on March 13-14, Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh, Muzaffarabad on March 12 and 13, Himachal Pradesh on March 13 and 14. At the same time, strong winds will blow in West Madhya Pradesh during March 13-15. Apart from this, strong winds are also likely to prevail over Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh during March 14-15.
How will the temperature be for the next 5 days?
According to IMD, heatwave conditions will prevail over Konkan, Coastal Karnataka on March 11. In addition, the maximum temperature over Northwest India would increase by two to three degrees during the next two days. At the same time, there is no possibility of any major change in western India till the next 24 days. Talking about Central India, there may be an increase of two to three degree Celsius in the maximum temperature for the next three days. Rest of the country will not see any major change in temperature for the next five days.
