According to the Meteorological Department, there is a warning of scattered rain and thunderstorm on March 10 and 11 in the part of eastern India. A new Western Disturbance is going to bring rain and thunderstorms in the Western Himalayan region from March 12 to 14. Apart from this, there is an alert of scattered rain in the states of Bihar, Jharkhand etc.

Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature in Saurashtra, Kutch, Konkan, Goa and Coastal Karnataka remained in the range of 37-38 degree Celsius. Besides, Vidarbha, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Telangana and West Rajasthan recorded maximum temperatures ranging between 35-37 degrees. At the same time, in the rest of the country, this temperature was recorded between 30-35 degrees. Apart from this, rains were recorded in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Andaman and Nicobar, Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. At the same time, there was snowfall in the hilly states.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for rain and thunderstorms for many states. According to IMD, there is a possibility of light rain and thunderstorm in Chhattisgarh, Odisha on March 10, while an alert for rain and thunderstorm has been issued in Bihar-Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal on March 10 and 11. Apart from this, strong winds with a speed of 30-40 kmph are also expected over Jharkhand, West Bengal. Apart from this, a warning of rain and thunderstorm has been issued in the western Himalayan region during March 12-14. At the same time, a rain alert has been issued in Rajasthan on March 13, West Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Gujarat on March 13-14. Apart from this, a warning of rain and thunderstorm has been issued in East Madhya Pradesh on March 14.
