Heavy rain and hailstorm are being seen from north to south states. Due to rains in most states including Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Telangana, the weather has become pleasant. There has also been a lot of relief from the heat that has been prevailing for many days. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for rain, hail and strong winds for the coming five days. It is also going to rain in the national capital Delhi from March 17 to March 20.
The Meteorological Department has told that in the last 24 hours, heavy rains were observed in Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema. At the same time, it rained in most parts of the country. Apart from this, hailstorm accompanied with rain occurred over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Meghalaya, Madhya Maharashtra, Gujarat, Marathwada, Telangana, Interior Karnataka.
The Meteorological Department said that cyclonic circulation is being seen in southern and north eastern Rajasthan. Apart from this, a trough is running from Northeast Arabian Sea to Rajasthan, while another trough is running from South Rajasthan to Bangladesh, due to which many states are witnessing rain. Talking about the weather forecast, light to moderate rain is going to be seen in the states of North West India for the next four days. Apart from this, hailstorm is also going to be seen. According to the Meteorological Department, rain and hailstorm can be seen in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan from March 17 to 20. Hail warning has also been issued in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand for the next four days.
Rain in all states from Gujarat, Maharashtra
According to IMD, between March 17-19, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh may see moderate rain with hailstorm. Heavy hailstorm will occur over Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh on March 17 and 18. If we talk about the southern states, rain will be seen at many places for the next three days from March 17 to 19. Hailstorm will also occur in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Karnataka today. Talking of heavy rains, heavy rains will occur over Coastal Andhra Pradesh for the next three days, Telangana for two days and Rayalaseema for the next 24 hours.
It will rain for five days
If we talk about East and North East India, for the next five days, light to moderate rain at many places, strong winds, thunderstorms will continue to be seen at some places. Talking about hailstorm, there will be hailstorm in Sikkim, West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Jharkhand in the next 24 hours. In addition, Bihar and Odisha would see hailstorm today and tomorrow. Talking about heavy rains, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya will receive heavy rains on March 19-20. It is going to rain heavily in Tripura on 20 March.
