IMD Rainfall Alert, Weather Forecast: The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted the weather for the coming days. Snowfall is going to happen in the hilly states, due to which the cold will increase in North India. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be moderate rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Himachal Pradesh on November 6, 7, 9 and 10. Apart from this, there will be snowfall and rain in Uttarakhand on November 6 and 7. At the same time, there is a possibility of light rain in Punjab on November 6 and 7.
At the same time, there is a possibility of very heavy rain and snowfall in the Kashmir Valley on November 6. At the same time, talking about South India, it is still raining here in many states. According to the Meteorological Department, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe will receive moderate rains on November 6. After this the rain activities will reduce.
It will rain for the next three days
It is going to rain for three days in Andaman and Nicobar from 6 to 8 November. Also, a Low Pressure Area is very likely to form over southwest Bay of Bengal off Sri Lanka coast around November 9, 2022. It is very likely to move north-westwards towards Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coasts with possible slight intensification during subsequent 48 hours.
Delhi’s air quality in ‘very poor’ category
The air quality in the national capital on Sunday was recorded in the ‘very poor’ category with the minimum temperature at 17.5 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, Delhi’s overall air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 331 at 10.30 am. It is known that AQI between zero and 50 is ‘good’, 51 to 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 to 200 ‘moderate’, 201 to 300 ‘poor’, 301 to 400 ‘very poor’ and An AQI between 401 and 500 is considered ‘severe’. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that at 8.30 am the relative humidity was 91 per cent.
