In the case of threatening to blow up the Parliament House with a bomb, the Crime Branch has arrested the former MLA from Bhopal Samwar. The former MLA has been identified as 59-year-old Kishor Samrite. He had sent threatening letters and gelatin sticks in the bag to Parliament House, Speaker of Lok Sabha, Security General of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
Sources privy to the investigation said that a bag containing the national flag, constitution and gelatin sticks besides a letter was found at the Parliament House last week. It was written in the letter that if the 70-point demands are not met, he will blow up the Parliament House with a bomb. For this, he had also fixed the last deadline on 30 September.
After some time, letters and gelatin sticks were also sent to the Speaker of Lok Sabha, Security General of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Due to this, the Crime Branch Special Cell, IB and other security agencies became alert. Everyone was checking their level. Starting the search for the accused, the police reached Bhopal. The police team nabbed 59-year-old Kishore Samrite, a former MLA living in a rented house.

Special CP told that Kishor started his politics from NSUI. Then soon left the party and joined Janata Dal and later SP. In 2007, he had won from Balaghat’s Lanchi assembly during the by-election. The police officer said that 17 cases of different types of crimes against the juvenile are registered in different police stations of Madhya Pradesh. This includes cases of arson, riots and Arms Act. He has also served a five-year sentence in an Arms Act case.
Campaign to gain publicity: He had requested to register a new political party with the Election Commission in 2019. The police officer said that the team has left for Delhi with the accused. The Special CP said that in the investigation so far, it has been found that Kishor has done these acts to get this publicity. Now after interrogation, information about the motives behind his actions will be known.
