How Mamata Banerjee will win forts in 2024, cabinet reshuffle and 7 new districts; what is strategy

Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee has made preparations for a major reshuffle in her government. He has sent many ministers in the organization of TMC and now preparations are on to remove him from the government. In their place, 4 to 5 new ministers can be given a place in the cabinet. This decision of Mamata Banerjee is being seen as a preparation for the panchayat elections to be held in the state next year and then the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Recently, Mamta Banerjee government minister Partha Chatterjee was arrested by the ED and Rs 50 crore in cash and huge gold have been recovered from the house of his aide Arpita Mukherjee. People who understand the politics of Bengal are seeing this change by linking it to the raid on Partha Chatterjee.

A statement issued by the TMC said, “TMC has made some new appointments on the posts of District President and Chairman under the leadership of Chairman Mamata Banerjee.” After the announcement of Mamta Banerjee, ministers Asima Patra and Soumen Mohapatra have been sent to the organization. Not only this, the Mamta Banerjee government has also made preparations to create 7 new districts. This proposal has been approved in the cabinet meeting held on Monday. The new districts will be named Berhampur, Kandi, Sunderbans, Basirhat, Ichhamati, Ranaghat and Bishnupur. In this way the total number of districts in Bengal will increase to 30.

What will be the benefit of TMC by formation of new districts

A senior official said that this decision has been taken to improve the administrative work. Those who understand the politics of Bengal say that Mamata Banerjee has tried to solve the social equations by reshuffling the cabinet on one hand. On the other hand, there is an attempt to capitalize on regional identity by creating new districts. There was a demand for the formation of new districts in Bengal for a long time. In such a situation, Mamta Banerjee has taken further equations by changing from new districts to ministers. Not only this, this exercise of forming TMC is also visible.

Abhishek’s impression in the change of government and organization?

TMC sources say that Abhishek Banerjee’s impression is being seen in the cabinet reshuffle. On his behest, ministers who are weak in work have been removed and preparations are being made to send them to the organization. Apart from this, many such leaders who were working in the party till now, they will be given responsibility in the government. New teams of TMC have been formed in the districts, creating a balance of new and old leaders. In many districts including Cooch Behar, Dakshin Dinajpur, Nadia Dakshin, Jhargram, major reshuffles have been made in the organization.
