A constable in Rajasthan’s Kota city wrote a unique letter seeking leave on Holi. This letter is now going viral on social media. The constable posted in the police line had sought leave for Holi citing his wife and in-laws. On receipt of the letter, the Additional Inspector (RI) of Police Lines has granted leave of seven days to the constable.
The constable got married only three months ago.
Constable Satpal Chowdhary, who applied for leave, is a resident of Bharatpur district. Satpal is posted in Kota Police Line. According to the information received, Satpal got married three months back. This is their first Holi after marriage. In such a situation, Satpal wanted to go to his in-laws’ house to celebrate Holi. Satpal has been discharged.
Satpal wrote in his letter, ‘I got married 3 months ago. In such a situation, it is customary to celebrate Holi at one’s in-laws’ house for the first time after marriage. So he wants to go to his in-laws house with his wife to celebrate Holi festival. If you don’t go in such a situation, there is every possibility of family problems. Along with this, there will be a rift in the relationship between husband and wife in future.
After the festival of Dhulandi in Kota city today, the police of the district celebrated Police Holi in the police line. During this, the application letter written by Satpal Chowdhary is also on everyone’s lips. Regarding this letter, the fellow constable praised Satpal fiercely and appreciated his courage.
