Jasprit Bumrah out of T20 World Cup 2022, BCCI confirms

Pandya wrote in his post, “My Jassi (Jasprit Bumrah) will return as strong as ever, as he does. Jasprit Bumrah”

Bumrah has been troubled by back pain in the past as well. He had to stay out for three months in 2019 for the same reason but this time he may have to stay out for four to six months. Bumrah played the same five matches in all three formats for India this year while he played 14 matches for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.

The BCCI will soon announce the replacement of Bumrah for the T20 World Cup. Bumrah is the second player from India to be out of the T20 World Cup 2022. Before him, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has already been ruled out of this tournament.
